Payments Product Owner
The distribution of services in the most convenient way for clients is at the forefront of Bankera’s operations. As a Product Owner for Payments within our digital banking products team, you will oversee the implementation of payment solutions and will implement new Payment methods or payments types. You will manage and coordinate feature delivery over ambitious roadmaps, ensuring that all internal (board, C-level executives, and team members) and external stakeholder visions are incorporated into our products. Your responsibilities will range from initiating design work to presenting our vision to developers and providing timely feedback to questions or issues raised.

- Collaborate with executive management to identify future business trends, product needs, and execute new product development initiatives
- Take ownership of a technical product area, defining the vision and strategy while managing its development
- Develop and maintain the product backlog, writing clear and detailed product requirements, features, and functionality definitions
- Stay up-to-date with FinTech industry trends and regulations to maintain the required knowledge for our business, making informed product decisions
- Manage the product through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery and post-launch support
- Identify and assess KPIs for product success, ensuring product features align with business objectives
- Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless and timely delivery
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities and define the product roadmap
- Prioritize product enhancements and coordinate development efforts in line with business goals and client needs
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in payments, cards or digital banking
- Experience documenting technical requirements for developers and teams
- Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with executives, developers, and external partners
- Understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- A detail-oriented personality with strong organizational skills
- Strong research and analytical skills to drive decision-making and product development strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Technical background or understanding of APIs, SDKs, and integration with third-party providers is a plus
- Agile methodologies experience (e. g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus
- Experience working with compliance and regulatory frameworks in the financial industry is a plus
Salary
Salary for this position ranges from 3200 to 4585 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on your experience, competence, and motivation.
