Head of Risk
We are looking for a Head of Risk – an owner of the function, who would be a great leader, able not only to manage the function but also to do daily ‘hands-on’ tasks. Risk management is one of the key functions that keep the company driving safely through highly regulated and challenging financial business. The role leads the implementation and continuous improvement of company's enterprise risk management framework across operational, financial, and strategic risks. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing emerging risks in banking and payment technologies, defining risk appetite and limits, and overseeing risk measurement, monitoring, and reporting processes. The role also involves preparing risk reports, supporting regulatory examinations and audits.

- Oversee the risk management function and run a Risk Management Division, oversee risk policies, procedures, and strategies
- Develop risk maps and action plans to mitigate financial and non-financial risks
- Monitor, assess, document, and regularly review risks of all types and help the business design and implement controls following the legal requirements
- Produce quarterly risk maps, quarterly and annual risk management reports
- Participate in developing new financial products, where relevant
- Develop and maintain risk management tools and systems
- Together with the Compliance function raise awareness of relevant rules and regulations
We would love you to have
- 5+ years of experience in a risk management role at a financial institution or FSA
- Very good understanding of payments, banking, operations, risk, and treasury processes
- Knowledge of relevant EU and Lithuanian regulations
- University Degree (Finance, Economics or Mathematics are preferable)
- Understanding of risk identification and measurement concepts (VaR, LGD and similar)
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English
Salary
Salary for this position ranges from 4500 to 7500 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on your experience, competence, and motivation.
