This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal professional to join a dynamic and growing company as we are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Legal team and focus on data protection and employment law areas. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in these areas. In addition, you will have ability to expand your skills and experience in other fintech-related areas if only desired. As a Legal Counsel, you will work together with a competent team of legal officers, aside having tight collaboration with compliance team.

- Ensure enhancement of existing data protection framework and elaborate on further development
- Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on employment law matters
- Advice regarding contractual obligations, relationships with partners, etc.
- Collaborate with external parties (regulators, external counsels, public authorities, etc.), creating relations of trust and confidence
- Draft internal policies, agreements, negotiate with partners
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with regulatory requirements (preferably financial sector, law firms, or FinTech companies)
- Expertise in data protection and employment law area
- Knowledge of financial laws and procedures would be an advantage
- Strong English communication skills (written and oral)
- Higher degree in Law
